This notice supplements the website Privacy Policy and describes the community operated by CANYONEERING101 LLC. You can read public discussions without creating an account.
Accounts and public contributions
When you register, WordPress stores your username, email address, a password hash, account dates, and account settings. We also record the date and version of the community guidelines you accepted. Your chosen public name, profile information you publish, topics, replies, and contribution dates can be seen by other visitors and search engines. Your account email address is not displayed with your posts.
We use account information to sign you in, manage permissions, send account and password-reset messages, and respond to requests. We use WordPress and bbPress software on our hosting service; creating an account does not subscribe you to a newsletter. Forum subscription emails are disabled in the initial setup.
Security and moderation
WordPress, bbPress, hosting, and security services may process IP addresses, request times, browser information, account activity, and post records to operate the community and investigate misuse. bbPress can associate an IP address with a contribution. Administrators and moderators can access information needed for their responsibilities. New members’ first contributions are held for review.
Cookies and external content
Signing in uses functional WordPress cookies to maintain your session and protect account actions. Blocking those cookies may prevent signing in or posting. The website’s existing cookie choices still apply to optional analytics. Public forum pages do not load Gravatar profile images through this community setup.
If you add a link to a photograph hosted elsewhere, visitors’ browsers may contact that host when displaying it. Use only images you have permission to share. Do not include personal information in image URLs. External sites have their own privacy practices.
Retention and your choices
Account information is retained while an account is active and as needed for administration, security, legal obligations, or disputes. Public discussions may remain useful after an account is closed. Closing an account or deleting a browser cookie does not automatically remove public posts, quotes, search-engine copies, or backups.
For access, correction, account closure, or deletion requests, contact [email protected]. We may need to verify the request. Tell us which account and contributions are involved so we can review the account records and public content together. The main Privacy Policy explains additional rights, service providers, international processing, and the website’s general practices.
